Practical Tools for
Local Leaders

KyDIR is developing a library of practical, plain-language resources for elected officials, planning and zoning professionals, economic development leaders, utility and public-safety officials, community organizations and residents of the Commonwealth.

Our materials focus on fact-based information to support decision-making around issues such as land use, public processes, project development, and local impacts.

Hear From Our Network

Speakers Bureau

KyDIR is building a statewide network of speakers and subject-matter experts in local government, planning and zoning, utilities, water, public safety, economic development, public finance, land use, technology, community engagement and community development stewardship.

Speakers will disclose relevant affiliations and will address approved topics within their areas of expertise. Participation in the speakers bureau does not authorize an individual to take project-specific or policy positions on behalf of KyDIR.
