Important questions. Reliable information. Stronger local decisions.
The Kentucky Digital Infrastructure Resource helps local leaders and communities understand and evaluate significant digital infrastructure projects that impact communities across the Commonwealth. Our goal is to provide practical, Kentucky-specific information so communities can make decisions locally, transparently, and with confidence.

Overview
Understanding the Decisions Shaping Kentucky’s Future
Digital infrastructure is expanding rapidly as businesses, public institutions, and Kentucky residents and businesses rely on growing amounts of computing power and data capacity. Kentucky communities are increasingly being asked to consider projects that can affect land use, utility systems, public services, local revenue, resources, and long-term development.
These decisions are complex. Local officials and residents deserve clear information, access to credible expertise, and a transparent process for weighing potential benefits, costs and tradeoffs.
KyDIR exists to help communities ask the right questions and consider options before decisions are made.
